Summary
The Construction Sales Manager will lead business development and sales efforts for Integrity Infrastructure’s underground drilling and specialty construction services. This role combines sales, client relationship management, estimating/pre-bid collaboration, and strategic growth planning. The ideal candidate will build relationships with general contractors, municipal clients, utilities, and private developers, translating project needs into bids and contracts while helping drive overall revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in underground drilling, utilities, pipeline work, directional drilling, and other specialty construction services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, municipalities, utilities, developers, engineers, and other key decision-makers.
- Work with the estimating/project management team to develop accurate proposals, scopes, and budgets for potential clients.
- Present proposals, deliver sales presentations, negotiate contract terms, and close deals.
- Monitor market trends, regional construction activity, and regulatory changes to proactively target new clients and sectors.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline, track activities, forecast revenue, and report to senior management.
- Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure smooth handoff from sale to execution, and support customer satisfaction and retention.
- Represent Integrity Infrastructure at industry events, pre-bid meetings, conferences, and networking functions.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of sales/business development experience in construction, civil engineering, utilities, or related heavy construction sectors — preferably with underground drilling, utilities, pipeline, or subsurface work.
- Strong relationships/networks with GC’s, utilities, municipalities, developers, or engineering firms in the Portland metro or Pacific Northwest.
- Familiarity with project estimating, scope-of-work development, contract negotiation, and basic technical understanding of drilling/utility construction.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work both in office and in field/onsite client meetings as needed.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated, with strong initiative and ability to work independently or with small teams.
Preferred
- Background in underground utilities, directional drilling, pipeline work, SUE, civil/site work, or related specialty trades.
- Existing relationships with local subcontractors, developers, municipalities, or utility providers.
- Understanding of local regulations, permitting, and underground utility standards in Oregon or Pacific Northwest.
- Experience with CRM tools, estimating software, or construction management platforms.
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
